Working with the Standby Remote Client to Get Translation Jobs from a Client
You’ve installed your free copy of Across Personal Edition and started experimenting with it, but you don’t know how to interact with an LSP’s Across Language Server installation? This session will teach you everything you need to know about how to work with the Across Standby Remote Client: how to import an Across license file, retrieve tasks from a client, and deliver tasks to a client.

Interactive Tutorials for Translators and Project Managers
You can work through the interactive tutorials without any disruption and at any time you prefer. At present, our tutorials offer you an introduction to translating and project management with Across. You can start the tutorials directly from the web site, but you will also find them on your Across DVD.
In order to be able to view the Across tutorials, you should meet the following system requirements:
- PC with at least a Pentium III / 450 MHz and Windows 2000/XP
- Screen resolution at least 1 024×768 Pixel and 65 000 colors
- RAM at least 128 MB, 512 MB recommended
- MS Internet Explorer v5.0 and higher or Netscape v7.x and higher
- Plug-in for Macromedia Flash 10 or higher
